Bear crumpets Makes about 3 bears
YOU WILL NEED FOR THE CRUMPETS 1 small banana 1 egg ½ tsp ground cinnamon Sunflower oil, for frying FOR THE BEAR FACES 1 banana, sliced 6 blueberries 5 red grapes, halved
1 For the crumpets, mash the banana with a fork until smooth.
Mix in the egg and cinnamon.
2 Heat a splash of oil in a frying pan on medium heat and add a 15ml heap and two 5ml heaps of the batter. (Use ring moulds for perfect round shapes). Cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until cooked. Repeat with the rest. 3 To plate, place two small crumpets (bases trimmed) on top of a large one. Repeat with the rest. Place three banana slices onto each crumpet and top with blueberries for eyes. Add grape halves for noses and inside of the ears. Serve immediately.
