Bear crum­pets Makes about 3 bears

YOU WILL NEED FOR THE CRUM­PETS 1 small ba­nana 1 egg ½ tsp ground cin­na­mon Sun­flower oil, for fry­ing FOR THE BEAR FACES 1 ba­nana, sliced 6 blue­ber­ries 5 red grapes, halved

METHOD

1 For the crum­pets, mash the ba­nana with a fork un­til smooth.

Mix in the egg and cin­na­mon.

2 Heat a splash of oil in a fry­ing pan on medium heat and add a 15ml heap and two 5ml heaps of the bat­ter. (Use ring moulds for per­fect round shapes). Cook for 1-2 min­utes on each side or un­til cooked. Re­peat with the rest. 3 To plate, place two small crum­pets (bases trimmed) on top of a large one. Re­peat with the rest. Place three ba­nana slices onto each crum­pet and top with blue­ber­ries for eyes. Add grape halves for noses and in­side of the ears. Serve im­me­di­ately.
