IS FOR personalised presents

Living and Loving - - FAMILY INSPIRATION -

When you have a baby, a present for a family member featuring a photo of her is a double win − there’s nothing anyone appreciates more, and nothing is easier. The more kitsch the idea, the better:

1 Use permanent pens to customise a plain sleepsuit with the words “I love Grandpa” (or whoever the present is for), then take a photo of your baby in it and frame it.

2 To make a photo holder from one of your baby’s wooden blocks, drill a small hole into the centre of one side. Take a length of stiff wire and twist one end into a flat spiral shape, to hold a photo of your baby. Glue the other end into the block.

3 Forget a photo on a mug – you can personalise almost anything, including T-shirts, boxes of chocolates, bottles of wine, a phone case or a note pad at netflorist.co.za.

4 Pop a photo in a locket for Grandma – she’ll love it! Best-ever present for Gogo? Write “A cuddle from me” on a piece of card, put it in a big box, and wrap it up. Get your toddler to hand over the present personally!
