BACON-WRAPPED CHEESE WITH STRAWBERRY SALSA
• 200g bacon strips
FOR THE FILLING
• 150g cream cheese • 30g feta cheese, crumbled • 2 cloves garlic, chopped • grated zest of ½ orange
FOR THE SALSA
• 100g strawberries,
finely chopped • 5g parsley • 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil 1. Place the bacon strips on a surface. Mix together the cream cheese, feta cheese, garlic and orange zest. Place dollops of the mixture at the base of each strip and roll up the bacon strip tightly. Repeat with all the bacon and filling. 2. Heat a frying pan and cook the bacon parcels until golden and crispy, then set aside and drain on paper towel. 3. For the salsa: Mix together all the ingredients and season. 4. To serve: Serve warm, topped with the strawberry salsa.
