Fifa rules

Sierra Leone is unhappy about a possible Fifa ban following the suspension of two of the country’s top football officials. The football body has accused the government of interfering in the running of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) after the country’s Anticorruption Commission suspended SLFA president Isha Johansen and its secretary general, Christopher Kamara, pending the outcome of a corruption investigation. Minister of Sport Ibrahim Nyelenkeh insists that the government did not ask the two to step down.
