Write for MAGNUM

Do you hunt, sport shoot, wingshoot, own a firearm for self-defence, collect firearms or ammunition, reload, and/or have some related technical know-how?

We are looking for new articles to publish in Magnum and encourage you to consider writing something for us of your experiences. We like our articles to have something different; a special or funny experience, odd animal behavior, an important milestone, a lesson learned, an element of intrigue…whatever applies.

Before you start writing, please contact us to receive a free copy of Magnum’s Writers’ Guidelines and to bounce your article ideas off us.

T’s & C’s Material must be original and not have been published before. Articles should be maximum 1 800 words. All material should be submitted with a variety of photos as follows: * For hunting & wingshooting stories: the scenery, the vegetation, live game, yourself in action, your tracker, animal spoor, the rifle you hunted with, and of course what you bagged, etc * For sport shooting stories: the range, the firearms, the targets, shooters in action, shooters getting ready, ammo used, special equipment, etc * For technical articles: photos or diagrams should illustrate points in the text. Articles and photos which are published will be paid for at the usual rates.
