Two city leaders selected for course
Anthony Waldhausen, Msunduzi Association of Residents Ratepayers and Civics (MARRC) chairperson, and Anoop Partab, vice chairperson of Lincoln Meade RRA, have been selected to participate in DAG Active Citizens Training Course.
The course is targeted at community leaders’/change agents to improve their leadership skills and provide a better understanding of the urban development contexts of their cities. The course will run virtually over eight months.
Partab said he was grateful for the opportunity. “I hope to strengthen my leadership skills. I have no doubt that this course will help me achieve that,” he said.
Anthony Waldhausen saw the course as an opportunity to engage with other community leaders and to learn from each other. “The skills that I will be developing would assist me to train all committee members of the resident and ratepayer associations and assist in their leadership development.”
