Edendale Superspar serving the community again

-

Edendale Mega SuperSpar was able to reopen in November 2021 after July’s unrest, thanks to the continued support of the community.

Steven Scarff, the group operations manager, said it took the Superspar time to get back on its feet. “We obviously had to rebuild and during that time we did make some changes to the stores to enable a safer place for our staff to work in and customers to shop at. Luckily, we had an excellent team that got on with the rebuild at the Edendale Superspar and balance of the center hence why we managed to re-open so quickly,” he said.

He said the group understands the effects of the unrest in Edendale, where consumers had to go into town to get their daily supplies or withdraw money.

“We are now fully up and trading in the center together with the other tenants and have ATMs available as well as the newest addition, a mobile FNB banking hall. All the staff are happy to be back and we would love to welcome all our old as well as new customers to come and experience a wonderful shopping experience at Edendale Superspar,” said Scarff.
