Willowton Oil and SANZAF’s gift of education

The gift of education is one which cannot be exchanged or taken away once it is gifted. It is a gift that gives the receiver hope for the future and turns dreams into a reality.

I was given the gift of education and my dreams are now turned into a reality.

I was a recipient of two bursaries which allowed me to complete an LLB and LLM in Advanced Criminal Justice at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from the DH Moosa Willowton Oil Bursary Fund and the South African National Zakah Fund - Durban (SANZAF). I am now an aspiring prosecutor with the National Prosecuting Authority.

Completion of these two degrees would not have been possible without the ongoing financial support from DH Moosa Willowton Oil Bursary Fund and SANZAF Durban. I wish to express my appreciation for these organisations and their ongoing belief and support in making a difference in the lives of young South Africans.

I was given the invaluable gift of education for which I will be forever grateful. No matter how far I go in my career or where life takes me, I will never forget the support of DH Moosa Willowton Oil Bursary Fund and SANZAF Durban. It has allowed me to turn my dreams into a reality.

So I urge you that no matter your circumstance or background, if you have dreams to study further, pursue it. With organisations like these, nothing is impossible. And remember, no one ever stops learning.
