Open call for the Art in the Park schools’ art competition
The Art in the Park ‘Through the Eye of a Child’ school art competition seeks to recognise the artistic and cultural talent of learners.
They are given artistic license to represent the theme through their own interpretation and creativity.
The theme for this year is:
‘Covid-19 pandemic – economic and social impact’. The main objective of the competition is to channel the learners’ positive thoughts to reveal their passion for art and their consciousness of the environment they live in.
There will be three individual winners in the junior school and three individual winners in the senior school categories.
Schools should enter by April 12 at the Publicity House, 177 Chief Albert Luthuli Street. Learners’ work should be submitted to our offices by April 25. For more information contact Mpume Ngubane: events@pmbtourism. co.za or 033 345 1348/9
