Cindi appeals for donations in kind for flood victims

-

The Children in Distress Network (Cindi), a Pietermaritzburg-based NGO made up of a network of organisations that work to provide a response for children made vulnerable and orphaned by HIV and Aids, is appealing for donations in kind to assist families affected by the recent floods.

The request seeks to provide a chance for citizens to extend a helping hand to fellow citizens in need, ranging from businesses, families, individuals and children of every age.

The donations in kind can be food parcels, new and pre-loved clothes, blankets, shoes, etc. Cindi will utilise its network of partners and Cindi member organisations to distribute donations to families affected by the recent floods in eThekwini and uMgungundlovu districts.

Cindi network office, located at 55 Jabu Ndlovu Street, Pietermaritzburg, will receive your donations between Monday and Friday, from 8am to 4pm. No gift is too small. Community members can call our office on 033 345 7994 or email enquiries to Stellar Zulu at programmedirector@cindi.org.za
