Artists excited to return for 58th Art in the Park exhibition

-

Returning artists, such as Christina Richardson, are very excited to once again be able to have this beautiful platform to showcase and sell their artwork.

Richardson said the event has just gotten better and better throughout the years and she is looking forward to all her clients coming back to the event. She is going to call them to join her at Art in the Park.

What she loves about Art in the Park, is that it gives people an opportunity to view and enjoy her work. She is also looking forward to once again meeting all the other artists from all over, and sharing ideas and being inspired to carry on.

Reflecting on the effects of two bleak years of Covid-19, Richardson said her artwork during this period became darker; more grayscale and solitaire, but now her vibrant colours are back, and that’s what patrons can look forward to seeing in Richardson’s work at this year’s Art in the Park.

Richardson is looking forward to showcasing her artwork, saying that is what the festival is all about. People walking through the gates are looking to buy art, and Richardson is looking forward to a lot of sales and getting her art bought by people all over South Africa.

We are looking forward to seeing more of Richardson’s art and strolling past all the artist stands, getting a new perspective on their art during lockdown.

Art in the Park will run from the April 28 until May 2, and will definitely be a bumper packed art weekend. Visitors can expect live performances, kids zone and activities, a day beauty spa and much more. This edition of Art in the Park is not to be missed.

Tickets can be purchased at the venue or from the PMB Tourism office. For more information contact 033 345 0641 or visit www.pmbtourism.co.za or you can purchase tickets online at www.ticketpros.co.za
