Sunnyside Park appeals for winter woolies

With winter just around the corner, many people will be getting out their winter woollies to stave off the chills of the coldest season of the year.

For some elderly residents at Sunnyside Park Home, this means enduring chilly days and nights without warm clothing.

The home is in desperate need of jerseys, slacks and jackets in all sizes and is appealing to the public for either donations in kind or cash. The home has started a Backabuddy campaign to keep their elderly residents warm this winter, with a fundraising target of R2000 to purchase warm clothes and underwear for some of the residents in need.
