Allison’s Saddlery still riding proud with Community Chest

Allison’s Saddlery is a landmark business in the economy of Pietermaritzburg and surrounds.

The business was established in 1902 by the Allison family and in 1991 it was taken over

by the Shaw family. This wellknown establishment continues to provide a large selection of saddles, bridles, bits and everything else for both horse and rider.

Despite the ups and downs of

our economy, Allison’s Saddlery has remained a loyal supporter of the Community Chest. On a recent courtesy visit to the establishment, the young owners, Gordon and Moyra pledged to continue in their parents’ footsteps, and

support the Community Chest.
