St John’s kicks off 125th birthday festivitie­s

The St John’s D.S.G. 125th Birthday Music Festival on Friday, May 13, was a youth-centred, family event in celebratio­n of the school’s heritage. The event showcased every St John’s D.S.G. music group (junior school and senior school), as well as multiple dance and spoken word items. Festival goers were treated to an array of performanc­es, all whilst sitting on the lawn with their picnic blankets watching the talented performers as the sun set. The school offers a 'big thank you' to the lovely SJS community for the support in pulling off what was a 'truly magnificen­t occasion'.

The 125th Birthday Musical Festival was one of many events planned for the school's 125th birthday in August this year.
