WHAT’S ON MY RADAR
What the Doc finds super-useful right now:
1/ BONE BROTH:
Not to be confused with normal stock or broth found in cooking, a bone broth is typically simmered for a very long time (sometimes, more than 24 hours) to ensure that all the minerals and nutrients are extracted from the bones. Some of the health benefits of a good bone broth may include improved gut health and joint support, among several others.
2/ STRYD RUNNING POWER METER:
In cycling, power meters have revolutionised the science and the coaching of the sport, so I’m very excited to see the use of these devices becoming more widespread in other areas. Recently, Stryd developed the first running power meter. It assists runners to perform more structured workouts, as well as allowing more objective and valid measures of performance.
