If you think bullying co-workers is just part of the path to success, you’re wrong: according to research by the Buffalo School of Management, leaders who prioritise morality tend to outperform their unethical counterparts. Researchers looked at hundreds of essays, books, and studies before concluding that employees perceived ethical leaders as more effective. Staff working at these companies were also more satisfied, creative, and proactive. As a result, these good-guy-led enterprises performed better overall. Bottom line: follow your moral compass. Always.
