Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, live in Mossel Bay

- Jeanne Pienaar

The Four Seasons is probably one of the best-loved classical masterpieces of all time - enjoyed by young and old across the music spectrum. The Mossel Bay Arts Society is delighted to bring a special concert to town: World Café performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Petrus de Beer (violin), Schalk Joubert (bass) and Stanislav Angelov (accordion) have been making music waves and history with their rendition of this classical work - which may just lull one into believing a full orchestra is in attendance.

The public is warmly invited to attend. Only one show has been arranged therefore it is highly recommended that seats are booked in advance with either Abé Meintjes (083 268 3718) or Annette Strydom (076 857 2900).

The concert will take place at the Dias Museum on Thursday, 1 March at 19:30. Doors open at 18:30. Tickets cost R100 for members of the Mossel Bay Arts Society and R120 for non-members. Scholars get a special rate of R30 each.

Membership of the society may be obtained at the concert at R100 per person for the year.
