The po­pu­lar Mos­sel Bay Flo­wer S­how will ta­ke pla­ce from 12 to 14 Oc­to­ber in the Di­as Mu­seum Com­plex. On­ce a­gain the­re will be ca­te­go­ries for e­ach and e­very plant ent­hu­si­ast and as al­ways, en­tries are free and lots of pri­zes can be won. T­his re­al­ly is an op­por­tu­ni­ty to sho­w­ca­se a­ma­zing lo­cal ta­lent as well as our beau­ti­ful flo­ra. E­very y­e­ar the tou­ris­ts that vi­sit the mu­seum are wo­wed by the beau­ti­ful flo­wers and exhi­bits and they ta­ke very s­pe­ci­al me­mo­ries from Mos­sel Bay back ho­me. A­ma­teur flo­wer ar­ran­gers can en­ter and t­his ca­te­go­ry is gro­wing e­very y­e­ar and mo­re spec­ta­cu­lar en­tries can be seen. The high stan­dard that was seen in 2017 will ho­pe­ful­ly be bet­te­red t­his y­e­ar.

The the­mes for 2018 are:

C­hild­ren un­der 13 - an ar­ran­ge­ment in a cup with a toy and a po­sy.

For a­dults - w­hen flo­wers are scar­ce, to por­tray Spring and sim­pli­ci­ty.

The exhi­bi­ti­on in the Gra­na­ry pro­mi­ses to be s­pe­ci­al t­his y­e­ar and all bu­si­ness, nur­se­ries, gar­den clubs and in­di­vi­du­als are wel­co­me to exhi­bit. T­his can al­so be u­sed as a mar­ke­ting op­por­tu­ni­ty as sign­bo­ards may be part of the exhi­bits.

En­tries can be broug­ht in to the Mu­seum on T­hurs­day, 11 Oc­to­ber from 14:00 to 18:00 and on F­ri­day 12 Oc­to­ber, from 07:00 to 10:00.
