Exciting handgun competition held
A Level 2 Boland IPSC Handgun competition was held this past weekend by the Mossel Bay Sport Shooting Association as part of the Mossel Bay
Sport and Recreation Festival. IPSC is a fast, movement-based handgun competition, in which the competitors shoot a stage against the clock while trying to engage all targets with maximum score.
There were a total of seven stages with the course of fire ranging from 12 to 32 rounds needed per stage and much lot of running and movement needed. There were 77 competitors, mostly from the Boland area and of course Mossel Bay competed in the event.
The Mossel Bay Sport Shooting Association did Mossel Bay proud by winning 13 medals in total.
