Movies At Monroe Theatre

The Friday comedy, to be screened on 19 October at 17:00, is the ever popular, Some Like It Hot, starring a sultry Marilyn Monroe and cross-dressing Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon. Two musicians witness the St Valentine's Day massacre and try to escape the mafia by posing as female musicians in an all-girl orchestra. Next Thursday, 25 October at 18:30 Kirk Douglas star in a World War I epic, Paths to Glory, directed by Stanley Kubrick. Julie Christie takes the lead in Far from the Madding Crowd, the film version of Thomas Hardy's book, screened on Friday, 25 October at 17:00. Enquiries can be made to Joan (082 415 9588).

Last Night Of The Proms
