Charity cabaret in Great Brak
It’s that time of year again. Tickets are now available for Petro Taute’s seventh Cabaret at De Dekke on Wednesday and Thursday, 7 and 8 November.
It is for a good cause and endless fun too. Last year R19 500 was donated to charities; this year funds raised will be in aid of Child Welfare Great Brak River and Diepkloof Kleuterskool, Glentana.
As always a wonderful evening of entertainment is promised, with song, dance, and a bit of humour.
Come, enjoy the fabulous voices of artists Petronel Baard (also musical director), Mordegai Erasmus, Zanah-Lee Erasmus, and many more.
The 60 minutes around the world theme takes the audience on a swift journey to various countries and this year there will be a strong French influence.
Artists (professional and amateur) plus the rest of the back-up team give their time for free to support this worthy cause.
There will be a lucky draw right at the end, with sponsored prizes to be won on both nights.
All seats must be pre-booked (tables for 10 only). Contact Zelda (071 671 7527) or Julia (082 654 9995) regarding tickets and enquiries.
No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets sell at R120 and doors will open at 17:30 for 19:30, with soothing background music by Two’s A Crowd from 19:00.
A visit to England depicted in dance at last year’s cabaret. A Cliff Richard medley was performed by Lettie Swanepoel, Keith Coppin, Mineé Scott and Ludi Olivier.
