Youth Café now boasts new studio

-

The Youth Café in Great Brak River is a place where the upcoming movers and shakers in the community meet.

Since its opening, the Café has become a beacon of hope, where young people can develop themselves, especially in terms of the arts.

On Thursday, 6 December, a new, exciting chapter started, when the Youth Café celebrated the opening of its own recording studio.

Members of the Mossel Bay town council and other stakeholders attended the joyous occasion and had the privilege of enjoying the "vibe" created by the budding musicians being coached at the Youth Café by Maximus Makoko.

It was all smiles and applause when Mossel Bay's executive mayor, Alderman Harry Levendal and Lionel Arnolds from the Department of Social Development cut the ribbon to officially declare the studio open.

The studio has been set up to accommodate not only solo vocalists and musicians, but also caters for choirs.
