Many walk, run and ride events this holiday

-

The 16th Grootbrak Grabadoo will take place on Monday, 31 December.

It is supported by Vodacom and takes place in and around the village of Great Brak River - an outdoor adventure with a difference.

Mountain bikers can burn off those extra kilojoules eaten during the holidays by taking part in one of four carefully designed, safe cycle routes through pristine, indigenous forests and cool, green plantations. Choose between 15km, 36km, 53km and 71km.

Those who wish to take part in a less strenuous activity with the kids and pets in tow, can opt for the 4.8km fun walk or run through the picturesque village on the banks of the winding Great Brak River.

MTB starting times are at three-minute intervals starting at 07:00 and the fun walk/ run starts at 07:15.
