Easy online access to municipal accounts

Municipal account holders can now view the detail of their municipal accounts online by registering on the municipality website.

The municipality is also considering sending out an SMS to account holders to inform them of the monthly amount payable. Account holders are requested to confirm the cellphone number to which the SMS must be sent by following the steps as set out below.

To register on the Municipal website to view the account details:

1. Visit www.mosselbay.gov.za

2. Click on top right corner, SHOW+

3. Click on Consumer Accounts Login/ Register

4. Click on Register to use this service

5. Fill in the form

6. Click on I’m not a robot

7. Click on the Register Button

Or type in the link, www.mosselbay.gov.za/ consumer/register.php and follow steps 5 - 7.

Edit information on the account:

1. Click on SHOW

2. Click on Consumer Accounts Login/ Register

3. Type in Email Address

4. Type in Password

5. Click on Login button

6. Click on Edit Your Details

7. Type in your new information (e.g. cellphone number)

8. Click Update Button

9. Log out
