Golden golf at Pinnacle Point

-

Pinnacle Point Estate held its monthly Pam Golding Better Ball Competition.

It was a beautiful day. Mossel Bay’s highly unpredictable winter weather seems to be in favour of recent competitions on the picturesque estate.

Altogether 38 Players took to the championship course to take part in the acclaimed contest. The par 72 golf course’s challenging layout once again tested the skills of all players on the field.

Johan Muller and in-form Michael van Schalkwyk proved too much for the opposition and sealed the monthly Better Ball title, dotting down 47 points.

"We would like to thank Pam Golding and all golfers who have dedicated their time to take part in our monthly club competitions," a spokesperson said.

"Pinnacle Point Estate invited all ladies to our facilities to introduce them to the beautiful game of golf. After successful tuition with our professionals, where they learned more about putting, chipping and a full swing, the ladies moved on to the course for a 4-hole Par-3 competition.

"Congratulations to Zandri Hamman and Ansa van Wyk, who scored an impressive 18 points on the four holes played.

"The fun-filled day ended with a prize giving ceremony and shared stories of the day over a drink. Thank you to all who attended. We hope to see you all back on the course again soon."
