Donate to fishermen’s children

The Fisherman's Kit Gift Box charity is holding its annual treasure hunt at Harry Giddey Park on 4 February 2023.

Although it is still months away, the organiser, Renay Robertson, would like to let the public know and start gathering donations.

The charity supports families of fishermen who work away at sea.

The treasure hunt on 4 February will take place from 12:00 to 15:00.

The following are ideas for donations: school stationery, woollen caps, gloves, socks, toiletries, soft toys, party packs, any types of vouchers, such as for a "pamper" at a salon, food hampers and fruit or vegetable hampers.
