Mammoth Ride to help elephants
Mossel Bay will soon host a motorcyclist who is doing a road trip through South Africa to raise money to help elephants.
Kyle Malyon (44) will be in Mossel Bay on Wednesday, 27 March. Johannesburgbased Kyle has called his trip the Mammoth Ride.
He organised a number of events to raise money for the Hoedspruit Elephant Rehabilitation and Development (HERD) Trust, which assists orphaned elephants.
And now people can make donations online to support the HERD Trust via Quicket (Mammoth Ride).
The 21-day ride started in Johannesburg on 17 March and ends in Johannesburg on 6 April.

Kyle works as a relationships manager for a law firm.
He told Mossel Bay Advertiser: "Firstly, I've always wanted to do a circumnavigation of South Africa and secondly, I have always had a soft spot for elephants."
He said he found out about the work HERD does and he decided to do the ride to fulfil both his goals.
Kyle notes: "I am using the closest tar roads to the land and sea borders. To make this a little more difficult, I will also include the two central provinces and cover all nine provinces during this trip."
WhatsApp Kyle (082 447 5661) if you would like to encourage him or find out more.
Bear in mind that he will be spending most of his time on his motorcycle until he finishes his trip on 6 April.
