Plenty of cycling action in Kwambo
A FULL weekend of riding and running awaits those making their way to the Kwambo Country Club on the weekend of 14 and 15 July.
On Saturday there will be the ‘le tour de Kwambo’, an 80km mountain bike adventure in rural Zululand.
The non-timed ride starts from the Kwambo Country Club at 7am.
The route is not marked and riders will have to have GPS to self-navigate.
Registration closes on 11 July although there will be limited late registrations before 6am on the day of the ride.
For those who still have the legs, there is the ‘le Kwambo knight ride’ which starts on Saturday at 4pm.
Billed as a fun ride, there will be plenty of fun and games for the three or four-person teams along the 20km route.
Bike lights are compulsory.
