A CRIME is a crime and in most parts of the world the sever­ity thereof is pun­ished ac­cord­ingly. But some­times peo­ple are forced to trans­gress for the sake of the liveli­hood of their fam­i­lies. Take this fish­er­man as ex­am­ple. The In­dian was taken into cus­tody by Pak­istani of­fi­cials for an­gling in their wa­ters. A sin­gle man won’t trawl up a coun­try’s mar­itime sup­ply, but the se­cu­rity forces of both coun­tries of­ten take ‘swipes’ like this at each other.
