Care For Some Ghoul-ash?

People (South Africa) - - Strange But True -

HALLOWEEN has come and gone, sadly. But this does not mean that we can’t reflect on the year’s spookiest holiday. A big part obviously concerns the length that people go to to express their creativity decoration-wise.

The stale old pumpkin is a classic; and people go to various lengths to transform their homes into catacombs or crypts. A butcher in the Ukraine, however, made do with what he had to decorate his shop. Yes, he used the meat in his display cases to create the most unnerving of beautifications.

The display was dubbed the ‘Cannibal’s Dream’ – this should already tell you all you need to know, but just in case your imagination is a little stagnant, get this: the butcher built what looked like skinned and trimmed human bodies out of various animal parts and the resemblance was unnerving. Everything from shaved ribs, liver, bacon and sausages were used to fashion his creation. Some found it quite inspired while others vowed never to shop there again.
