Putting Skin IN THE GAME

People (South Africa) - - Strange But True -

YURY GALAKTIONOV is an ardent rock ’n roll fan. There are many like him who’d support their favourite bands come hell or high water, bad albums and great tours.

The Russian native even has a ‘Rock ’N Roll Forever’ tattoo scrawled across his entire back – such is his dedication and passion for the genre. But Yuri has something else rock ’n roll related that he thinks is far more valuable. He has a series of autographs from famous rock musicians tattooed on his body, too. Musicians like Ozzy Osbourne, Sting and Klaus Meine have all scribbled their autograph on his body and when he manages to snag a signature, he has a tattoo artist immortalise it. He has 10 autographs in total (so far) and he means to make a bit of money out of this. He will auction his skin starting at R1.4-million for any one person who’d like his set of famous signatures. It’s a good way to make a quick buck, but the highest bidder will have to wait until Yuri’s death before they can get their hands on a piece of him.
