BRITISH songstress Ella Mai dominated the local airwaves last year with her smash hits Boo’d Up and Trip

and now the 24-year-old has dropped her self-titled debut studio album, which has her delivering a string of smooth R&B jams that show off her funky personality and emotional side beautifully. The star has found a place to thrive musically in today’s R&B landscape and her honest, unapologetic approach to storytelling, along with her sultry vocals, has helped her make an impact on audiences on a global level. Though this project is the singer’s debut and features a string of hits, Ella made sure not to rush her journey – and rightly so, because the time she took has made Ella Mai a strong, confident collection that truly shows off the star’s personality, talent and determination to be one of the biggest names in R&B.
