Two rhinos killed, one dehorned

Police have launched a manhunt for the suspect(s) involved in the killing of two rhinos on a game farm outside Lephalale last week.

According to Provincial Police Communications Head Motlafela Mojapelo game rangers patrolling the farm on Saturday discovered the two carcasses.

Mojapelo indicated that the carcasses were already in the early stages of decomposition and one animal’s horn had been removed.

The Police were immediately informed and investigations are continuing.
