Netcare Pholoso nurses spoiled

- Herbert Rachuene

Management of Netcare Pholoso Hospital acknowledged the efforts of their nurses for their role in the healthcare sector, and for the long days and hours to help safeguard the community, during International Nurses Day held at the hospital on Wednesday.

They were treated to a buffet breakfast and were presented with goodie bags and cupcakes. Hospital Services Manager,

Louisa Letsoalo said with the gesture they wanted to show the nurses how much they value and appreciate them.

“We had 210 nurses on the day who joined the celebrations.

They worked hard last year in the initial stages of Covid-19 and they are still committed to the cause. We just wanted to appreciate them and remind them that they are the voices who lead the vision for healthcare.”

International Nurses Day is observed on 12 May annually along with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
