Learners care, donate blood

- Miranda Chauke

Hoërskool Noorderland learners showed their caring side by supporting a blood drive hosted at the school on 21 April.

The target was set at 29 units and the learners successfully surpassed the target by 52 units. One learner who was donating for the first time is Kabelo Mokgobu and he said despite it being his first, he was not feeling nervous at all. “I decided to donate today because I want to do my part and save a life. It is something that I have been considering doing and I finally got the chance to,” he said. He added that he will donate again in the future.
