Lim volleyball back on the court

Volleyball teams across the province were happy to return to the courts for the opening matches of the Limpopo Volleyball Association, held at the volleyball courts at the Peter Mokaba Sport Complex on Saturday.

Volleyball Club from Giyani thrashing Legends Volleyball Club from Polokwane 45-21. The other encounter of the new season was between Rockers Volleyball Club and Univen Volleyball Club. Rockers beat Univen 44-19 to win the exciting battle.

Association said the players and the clubs were happy to return to action after a long break. “It was a good day and all the players enjoyed playing against each other. We were also pleased with how things unfolded throughout the day. All thanks to the players, coaches and team managers for the amazing job they’ve done preparing for the games,” Tshivhase said.
