Kings and Queens

The annual King and Queen of the Bushveld competitio­n was hosted at The Ranch Resort on Saturday.

The competitio­n saw 75 teams of two competing for the title. Participan­ts had a choice of entering the elite, intermedia­te, beginner and teens categories and took on activities such as sprints, rowing, burpees, pullups, thrusters and weights.

The beneficiar­y for the event is Hope for Children, a non-profit organisati­on that provides foster care for children who cannot live with their parents or family.

There are four of these houses that offer care for the children.
