Little Miss fills big shoes

Kungaye Ayanda Shalom ‘Kas’ Godlwana is running a shoe drive to help school children in need.

The seven-year-old pageant queen is the reigning Little Miss Capricorn.

She started competing in pageants when she was three years old with the influence from her older sister who is currently the reigning Miss Limpopo Role Models.

stage and imitate my sister,” she shared.

She has taken part in a number of pageants over the years and she shared that she loves modelling because it teaches discipline and it is a confidence booster, whether you win or not.

She hopes to one day become Miss South Africa as well as dominating world stages as Miss World or Miss Universe.

Kas is currently running a shoe drive whereby she is collecting shoes to help keep underprivi­leged learners in school. “Education is the greatest weapon that one can use to change the world.

“The plan is to collect 100 shoes by winter but the overall target is 1 000 shoes minimum during my reign,” she said.

When she grows up she would like to be a doctor or businesswo­man so that she can be in a position to change people’s lives.
