He told Polokwane Observer er that while fashion was just a concept initially, it has since become a way of life for so many any people. “I was always determined ined to become a fashion designer as nothing else intrigued me more re than the new and upcoming trends and d the fact that change in this industry is constant,” stant,” he said.

Kabelo says he has always had a creative streak and his parents were supportive pportive and encouraged him to pursue e his dream in fashion design. “I was as blessed to have such supportive parents ts because some parents don’t think this industry is the right path, but mine had faith in me. It’s remarkable how one ne gets the opportunit­y to blend their design expertise, artistic abilities, and fashion trends to produce something extraordin­ary.”

Kabelo hopes to see himself designing for big brands in Italy or Paris one day.
