Tennis aces show off their talent
Junior and senior tennis players recently gathered at the Polokwane Tennis Courts for a round robin tournament hosted by tennis academy SRE Sports.
The day included a primary school, high school and senior handicap tournament matches.
Players competed in their various divisions in an effort to brush up on their skills ahead of this year’s upcoming Tennis South
Africa matches. According to SRE coach Ernest Faver, the day saw a good number of matches being played considering an upturn in most other sporting code matches played elsewhere in the city.
“We attempt to facilitate as many opportunities for players to practise their skills, as not only the city, but the province is bursting with tennis potential. We appreciate everyone who participated in this weekend’s matches.”
