Frogfoot hops, brings Easter joy

- Anne Mametja

Easter was a little more special at God’s Hope Orphanage in Polokwane this year.

Frogfoot, a Wi-Fi fibre solution company, hosted an Easter egg hunt at the orphanage on April 12 to brighten up their day.

Brand activations head Miranda du Preez said the company wants to be an active member in the communities within which their fibre precincts lie.

They therefore wanted to give back where they see an opportunity to create some joy. “We understand that Easter is traditionally seen as a time for families to get together. Few of these children are able to experience this due to their circumstances and thus Frogfoot wanted to bring its family to them. We gave the children a treat for Easter to make it a memorable one,” Du Preez said.

The day included lunch and refreshments for the children and ended with handing out goodie bags with Frogfoot’s own winterthemed activity books to keep the fun going.

She added that where possible, Frogfoot tries to choose smaller children’s homes that might not have the support from government and are reliant on the public.
