Yin-Yang Karate and Self Defense Studio karatekas gave a stellar performance at the Limpopo Martial Arts Open Championship 2022.

The all styles competition took place at PEPPS on April 23 with karatekas from various dojos across the province.

Sensei Annatjie de Jager said that her karate club had the biggest spirit and most discipline which helped them bag a total of 65 medals. “I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that you deserve recognition for each one of those medals. Without your support, encouragement and belief, none of it would be possible,” she said to her karatekas. They obtained 25 gold, 15 silver and 25 bronze medals of which 24 were for kata, 20 for kumite, nine for unison and 12 for weapons.
