If you have an older engine that keeps misfiring, open the bonnet and run your engine in the dark. You may discover fat blue sparks jumping from the spark-plug leads to the engine and any other surrounding metal – it’s time to replace those leads! ( Thin little sparks, without an accompanying miss, may be ignored).
