It’s not actually critical that your primary bevel is at 25°. It can, for example, be 27°, 26°, or 24°, as long as it’s an accurately repeatable bevel and is at least a couple of

degrees less than your final secondary cutting bevel. Don’t get too hung up on this or it will drive

you crazy.
