Dismantling

Disconnect the coffee maker from the electrical power supply. Remove the bottom cover. Inside, you’ll find a heater element with integral water pipe clamped to the underside of the hotplate. Remove the clamp so you can inspect the element. It should now

dangle from the supply hoses.
