STEP 6: ATTACH THE END RAILS

Now you can start putting your bench base together by attaching the end rails. They get mounted, as shown, so they are centred on the width of the legs. Make sure the pocket holes in the end rails are orientated correctly, and then position the end rails as shown. The upper ones sit flush with the upper edge of the frontand back rail. The lower end rails get installed 76 mm up from the bottom end of each leg. Attach the end rails using 32 mm coarse-thread Kreg screws.
