Underdone roast chicken is no fun, for anyone. If you don’t have a food thermometer, a good way to check if your golden roast chicken is also done on the inside is to simply insert a knife or fork. If the juices run clear, you’re good to go. An alternative is to wiggle the chicken leg. If it comes off easily, your chicken is most likely cooked to perfection.
