SAMSUNG GALAXY WATCH4

-

This is definitely one of our favourite wearables yet. The aluminium case is lightweight, durable, and comfortable to wear, and the crystal-clear 1.40” Super AMOLED display is easy to see no matter the quality of ambient light. Customise the look with the Galaxy Wearables app or via the Google Play Store.

While every brand claims theirs is the go-to fitness wearable, Samsung has really stepped it up with this device. There are more than 90 exercise types to choose from, including orienteering and hula-hooping! Track all the necessary metrics, such as body fat, skeletal muscle, body water, body mass index, blood-oxygen levels, as well as something new: real-time ECG readings.

Even with so much going on, the watch operates glitch-free, a trait attributable to its all-new Exyno W920 chipset, 16 GB of storage and Wear OS 4 software.

It’s preloaded with Samsung Pay, and it you can add other apps as you need them (think YouTube Music, Strava, Calm, Spotify). While there are ample pros, battery life is a bit of a disadvantage; yep, you’ll have to charge it every day.

And if you’re trying to decide between this and the Watch4 Classic, this device is smaller, more minimalist, and friendlier on your wallet. Still, it’s a premier fitness wearable providing all the tracking tech, faces, apps and storage you could need.
