HOW IT’S DONE

-

Machines process, clean, flake, then pelletise baled postconsumer plastic. Next, a vacuum moves and stores the pellets into silos where they combine with other secret materials to become genuine Polywood lumber boards. The lumber boards are dyed, heated, and formed to match the size needed for the furniture. Three separate cooling tanks solidify the material, before it’s cut and routed in a CNC machine. From there, the pieces are packed and sent for shipping. – Bryce Glock,
