World’s largest open-air prison
THE apartheid state of Israel has killed 172 Palestinians to date, and injured 1 250 in nearly one week.
This is the result of their ‘rampant clampdown’ on Hamas through Operation Protective Edge.
Is this really a state protecting their citizens? That’s the message doing a frustrating litany across mainstream western media since the start of the campaign by the Zionist state.
Note that I am using the word Zionist. Zionist does not necessarily mean Jew. This is not a religious war between Muslims and Jews.
This is a political war for power by a Zionist state who would have the world believe that their attacks are a Jewish cause.
There are Jews around the world who are protesting against the atrocities committed by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) in ‘ protecting their state’.
Palestinian civilian casualties have been placed at one Palestinian child killed every three days by Israel for the past 13 years, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Information’s latest report.
The IDF have been mandated to launch an attack on over 1,7 million Palestinians in the hope of rooting out Hamas command centres and rocket storage facilities, which they believe, they only believe but have not proven, are being utilised in suburban homes.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu stated at the launch of Operation Protective Edge: “The difference between us is simple: We develop missile-defence systems to protect our citizens, while they use their citizens to protect their missiles. And this is what makes all the difference.”
Palestinians do not have the shelters, sirens or Iron Dome technology that the Israelis do. They have nothing to defend themselves against the relentless shelling by the IDF.
President Barack Obama’s administration has poured millions into assisting the Zionist state with upgrading their defence systems.
Netanyahu launched Operation Protective Edge on land from which they have forcefully removed Palestinians, under the guise of protecting his people.
He, along with his political supporters in the west, have cleverly woven a mythical web of deceit, to mislead the world into believing that they are under constant attack from Hamas.
All rocket fire, either from Hamas or Israel, needs to be condemned. But, what cannot be condoned are the constant cover-ups by mainstream media of the increasing number of Palestinian women and children senselessly killed, and the constant propaganda fed by Netanyahu’s administration to the world.

The Palestine Liberation Organisation has announced that it will ask the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, at its annual meeting in August, to designate Israel as an "apartheid state".
How much longer will innocent Palestinians live in the world’s largest open air prison before they are given reprieve from severe injustice and human rights abuses?
